The pictures below shows the charge by Buckingham’s troops and the view from behind the defences.

Buckingham finally got his troops into contact and broke one of the Earl of March (Edward’s) retinue. Warwick brought down devastating fire on Shrewsbury’s Retinue and one of these broke and fled the field. The second Heavy gun was also destroyed in the archery hail storm. Andy right on the last turn manages to get a 6 on a D6 and Grey finally turns traitor and takes the nearest two units with him. This leaves Henry with on unit of Household and not a happy future in front of him. A Yorkist victory as per the history books.

Text Box: A good game and with hindsight if I had known Grey would stay loyal it would have been better to sit behind the defences and trade archery while waiting for the assault or trying to dodge the return fire.

The end game is best described by the following overviews.

Warwick organises his Household to bring down fire upon the central defences and Fauconberg tries to exploit his success but fails to motivate and the clock runs down.
